The Fiorentiner
The Fiorentiner is a fictional magazine inspired by the illustrated covers of The New Yorker. Its purpose is to tell the story of Florence—its beauty, traditions, and people—through the eyes of creatives and illustrators.
My cover for this project pays tribute to one of the greatest goals in football history: on November 2, 1999, during the Fiorentina-Barcelona match, Mauro Bressan scored an unforgettable overhead kick from an incredible distance.
